I Yuv You

So, we're trying to teach Carter to say "I love Jesus" for the upcoming Primary Program. We're also trying to get him to say it on que. So when I whisper in his ear, "Carter say, 'I love Jesus'", he'll actually do it! Well, then there's the whole question of whether or not we can get him up to the microphone, or even to stay in the chapel without having a coniption. But we'll deal with that later. He's so cute. So far we can get him to say, "I yuv you", followed by "Cwist, AMEN!". See, I'll prompt him with, "Carter say, I love Jesus." Then he'll go, "I. Yuv...." and I'll prompt again, "Jesus." And then he'll come in with, "Cwist, AMEN!". And Amen is always hollered. When he's paying enough attention at church to say amen after the prayers, he sounds like an enthusiastic southern baptist! We sometimes calmly explain that he's a recent convert, ;) but mostly, we just smile and say "Good job!" and ignore the myriad of looks we get from the crowd.
